Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for management and oversight of direct reports within Private Client Service Team.
- Organizes and leads team meetings as needed and holds weekly 1:1 meetings with direct reports.
- Coaches team by promoting best practices, evaluating performance, offering feedback, and demonstrating the desired skills and expected work ethic.
- Oversees escalated issues as it relates to complex alternative investment paperwork
- Distributes information to team members from management and collects feedback to share with management.
- Reinforces firm’s processes and procedures and promotes a culture of innovation, process improvement and looks for ways to optimize and create efficiencies
- Acts as the initial point of contact to facilitate resolution of issues with a leadership mentality, escalating any urgent queries in a timely fashion to PCS Manager.
Qualifications and Desired Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 4 years professional experience in finance or wealth planning industry, with a min of 2 years in a managerial role
- Proven ability to lead through organization and delegation
- Strong attention to detail
- Exceptional interpersonal and client service skills
- Strong relationship building, leadership and listening skills
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to organize, prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and keep team apprised on open items
- Experience with Excel/Word/Outlook/Salesforce/PowerPoint, with an emphasis on Excel
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing and fast paced business environment
